Do you have anything like that set ? I can't imagine why it wouldn't install. GPO can also block files from running in temp folders. Do you have any anti-virus software that might do the same? Also, I use Mcafee EPO that blocks executing files from temp folders.

But if want then there is no any specified method suggested to install Google chrome on RDS server. Initially as suggested don’t need to have browser on RDS server for security purpose.
